Deep in the amber-lit woods, where the trees hold their breath and the mushrooms keep secrets, there lives a rabbit named Birch. Every autumn, when the leaves begin their slow letting-go, Birch makes the long walk to the old post at the edge of the Wildbound Path — a mailbox older than memory, marked with the sigil of crossed stems and a pressed leaf. Today, something arrived. A small envelope, sealed with a golden heart. Birch holds it carefully, as if it might dissolve like morning fog. Whatever is inside, it was meant to find them.
