Welcome to Pigments & Press, a small, glowing studio where soft magic gathers, colors wander, and gentle beings step forward from the paint water with quiet determination.

How the studio moves

I'm CB Icore — a disabled artist and storyteller who creates from a seated world. I live with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Lyme disease, chronic pain, and mobility limits, and I use a wheelchair. These realities shape how I move, rest, and make art. Slowness, pacing, and adaptation aren't obstacles in my process — they're part of its rhythm.

The name Pigments & Press reflects the heart of my work: Pigments for the colors, emotions, and characters I paint into being, and Press for the steady, intentional way I bring them forward at the pace my body allows.

What grows here

Inclusivity is woven into everything I create. My worlds include disabled beings, queer identities, adaptive forms, and characters who move, rest, and exist in ways that don't match the usual stories. I want more people to see themselves reflected in gentle, magical spaces — not as metaphors, but as whole beings with their own worth and wonder.

Pigments & Press is a world shaped by disability, imagination, and tenderness. A place where:
